We started The Desine Co. because we saw too many companies struggling with AI adoption. They wanted to embrace this transformative technology but lacked the time for AI education, strategy and alignment to make it feel less scary and more empowering. We prioritize executive AI literacy and enterprise-wide education, while many others focus solely on technology and the solution.
MEET OUR PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Hi, I'm Denise, I've spent fifteen years in the tech and energy sectors helping companies turn technical curiosity into operational capability. Most recently, I helped scale an organization from 40 to 2,000 employees, leading the global rollout of their internal generative AI program.
AI is a culture change because its altering how everyday business and tasks get done. My previous corporate role was an internal generative AI advisor for a global tech company. I know what it takes to make AI land. It starts with partnering with executives to embrace the change before rolling it out company-wide.
I like to think of myself as a full-brain thinker. Creativity is my natural state of mind, but I've spent my career training my left-brain technical side to match it. I founded The Desine Co. to solve both sides of this equation for modern leadership teams.
With MBAs from Cornell and Queen's, and a technical MSc from the University of Alberta, I operate exactly where strategy meets execution.
What we believe

Why Alberta shaped how we work
Alberta companies have lived through real disruption. Price crashes, layoffs, whole business models rebuilt inside a downturn. When they push back on AI, that is not resistance to change. It is a fair question from people who have been sold transformation before. Earned skepticism deserves evidence, not enthusiasm, and that is where we start.
