Meet Denise, your executive presentation coach
I've been the technical presenter at conferences and I've been the one on global company-wide strategy calls. I've seen a lot of well-prepared, deeply capable people lose the room for reasons that had nothing to do with how smart they were.
I like to think of myself as a full-brain thinker. Creativity is my natural state of mind, but I've spent my career training my left-brain technical side to match it. I founded The Desine Co. to solve both sides of this equation for modern leadership teams.
With MBAs from Cornell and Queen's, and a technical MSc from the University of Alberta, I operate exactly where strategy meets execution.
Why I do this
I edit and help build presentations, and I help you deliver them.
Growing up on stage, public speaking and presenting came naturally. With a brain that naturally thinks creatively, helping tie visuals with your story is a genuine passion. Our Presence services were born out of answering the question "what do people come to you for without being asked."
With a multicultural background, I know how hard it is for leaders where English is not your first language. It can feel frustrating when the message doesn't land after so much practice. North American culture and slang can make it hard to navigate. I can help.
With dozens of large audience technical presentations and countless global and national calls, I know about the pressure to perform.
